God, why is this Happening to me Now?

Hi, this is Michael Besson and today I want to share with you about ways to deal with frustration when you feel that its getting difficult to battle the numerous stressful issues of modern day life.

Have you ever had a situation happen where you are doing things right for God and your family and then suddenly you get attacked in ways you cannot believe?

Maybe it's an attack on your family, your business deals, your finance but how many of you have had that happen where it's almost like there is an enemy that is attacking you?

There's a blueprint in the Bible on how to handle that and it's found in 2nd Chronicles. It can change your life forever when put into practice.

2 Chronicles 31 (New International Version)

20 This is what Hezekiah did throughout Judah, doing what was good and right and faithful before the LORD his God. 21 In everything that he undertook in the service of God's temple and in obedience to the law and the commands, he sought his God and worked wholeheartedly. And so he prospered.

2 Chronicles 32 (New International Version)
Sennacherib Threatens Jerusalem
1 After all that Hezekiah had so faithfully done, Sennacherib king of Assyria came and invaded Judah. He laid siege to the fortified cities, thinking to conquer them for himself. 2 When Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib had come and that he intended to make war on Jerusalem, 3 he consulted with his officials and military staff about blocking off the water from the springs outside the city, and they helped him.

4 A large force of men assembled, and they blocked all the springs and the stream that flowed through the land. "Why should the kings [a] of Assyria come and find plenty of water?" they said. 5 Then he worked hard repairing all the broken sections of the wall and building towers on it. He built another wall outside that one and reinforced the supporting terraces [b] of the City of David. He also made large numbers of weapons and shields.

6 He appointed military officers over the people and assembled them before him in the square at the city gate and encouraged them with these words: 7 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. 8 With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles."

MY Personal Battle Plan

What are your battles today in modern day life?

Is it anger, lack of finances, lack of confidence, un-forgiveness, strife, resentment, lust, idolatry, adultery, flirting with women or men, cursing in regular conversation, pornography, gambling or wrong movies?

Are you really ready to slay your BIGGEST giant today? If so, write it out here!

What has to happen to SLAY A REAL GIANT IN YOUR LIFE?
Are you FULLY COMMITED TO DEFEAT THIS ENEMY TODAY?
What's your ENEMY'S Water source in your life? (Find it and cut it off!)
Is it?
The computer for porn?
The woman or man at your office that you cannot stop thinking about?
Your constant battle with fear?
Is it the food you’re eating that you know is not healthy for you?

Find it and cut it off from your life!

2 Chronicles 32: 4 A large force of men assembled,
Do you need reinforcements? Do you need a brother or sister along your side to help you through? If so, ask the Lord who to get, He'll help you "through" other people!

In real terms, how are you going to go do ALL THAT starting this week? (Write it down)

7 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. 8 With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles."

From the passage above, what do YOU AND I HAVE TO WORK ON THAT ENSURES WE WIN AGAINST OUR ENEMY...
ONE MORE AMAZING TACTIC TO FIGHT YOUR ENEMY FOUND IN 2 Chronicles 20:
Jehoshaphat Defeats Moab and Ammon

9 'If calamity comes upon us, whether the sword of judgment, or plague or famine, we will stand in your presence before this temple that bears your Name and will cry out to you in our distress, and you will hear us and save us.'

14 Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jahaziel son of Zechariah,
15 He said: This is what the LORD says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's.

22 As they began to sing and praise, the LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.
So start calling out to His name with praise and thanksgiving NO MATTER WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!

On a ZERO to TEN SCALE, how committed are you to everything you just learned today?

Write out a personal Warrior Mission Statement here and sign it with your name.

Example: Starting today, I am fully committed to defeating the enemy of anger in my home, my business and my life. I will implement everything I wrote out here in my battle plan and get the help I need from my brother ________. This sin is over in my life once and for all and I receive the power of the Holy Spirit to help me in Jesus Name, I declare VICTORY!

I love and care about you all, feel free to call on me for anything!
